Getting The Best From Your Online Appointment
In order to get the most from your online appointment and to make sure there are no unwanted delays, I have put in a step by step guide for you to follow.
Step 1 – Download Zoom
We use great software called ZOOM that is really easy to use.
It takes about two minutes to set up and if you click on the link below it will bring to a page to allow you to download it and test it before your call.
2 – Make Sure Your Camera Is Working
Whether you are using a laptop, tablet or phone, you should check to see if your camera is turned on and working. You will see a video button on the Zoom screen. Turn this on and you should be able to see yourself.
3 – Click on Computer Audio
When the option appears, be sure to click on the blue button to click ‘Join With Computer Audio’
4 – Find a suitable room for the call
There are three things we need to for a good call.
1 – Good lighting (if possible, have the window or light facing you)
2 – Enough space to move your legs and arms.
3 – A good camera angle so that your physio can see your full body from your toes to your head. It you have an upper body complaint we will need you to see you raise your arms up overhead also.

5 – Suitable clothing.
Try and wear suitable clothing that is not going to restrict your movement and will allow viewing of the problem area if needed. Shorts, leggings, t-shirt or vest top will work fine.
6 – Log in a few minutes beforehand
Lastly, it is a good idea to click on the link to log in a few minutes beforehand to check that the camera and sound are working.
For sound click computer audio when the option appears.
Hopefully that all makes sense and is easy to follow.
It really is quite easy to set up and once you get it up and running the first time, it’s an absolute piece of cake after that.
