4 Key Pillars With One Main Goal.
Overall, if we look at each of these 4 key pillars of health, they basically have the same goal. Simply put, that is, to limit the amount of bad stuff that builds up in the body. I appreciate that this is a very simple way at looking at it, but often the simpler we keep it the better.
Movement helps flush toxins out of the body and helps release happy endorphins such as dopamine which keep the stress hormones cortisol under control.
Getting the right and proper amount of sleep allows your body to recover form the days activities and allows your reserve of good hormones and energy supplies to be replenished so you can face the next day with energy and with a healthy immune system.
I think it is fair to say that everyone has experienced some level of stress over the last 4 weeks due to Covid 19 and we will always face stress in our lives. However, how people deal with their stress is very important and being able to manage it effectively is very important in limiting the stress response hormones in our body and maintaining good health.
As for diet, I think everyone probably has some awareness of what good foods and bad foods are, however, it doesn’t stop people from eating bad food when they are stressed, out of routine or not feeling so good.
Rather than repeating what you have probably already heard on about what you should eat and what you shouldn’t eat, I’m going to try and give you behaviors and tasks that you can do and incorporate into your day. while this is not my area of expertise, I will be getting some advice and guest posts from nutritionists to help give easy and manageable advice to you.
